Our History
Horizons Projects with the Community is a non-for-profit organization, founded in 1994 in Bogotá, Colombia.
After 25 years of extensive work and recognition for our approach, methodologies and results, we decided to open operations in Australia, since part of the leadership and advisory team reside here and we see great opportunities to contribute to the community in this country.

1990-1994
First project with disadvantaged community in Colombia.

1994
Constitution of Horizontes – Projects With the Community in Bogotá, Colombia. (non-for-profit).

1997
Projects in multiple Colombian regions.

1999
- Consolidation of training and education processes.
- Consolidation of the social and environmental research division.

2000
Education process begins in schools, performing environmental education.

2010
Solid waste management projects in small cities.

2011
Received multiple awards in Colombia and Latin America, for achievements in social, environmental and economic projects.

2016
Horizontes PWC implements its projects to community leaders in Colombia.

2019
- A work team is consolidated in Australia.
- Horizontes changes to HORIZONS Projects With the Community and is established to work in Australia.

2020
- Horizons operates as NDIS provider, Charity and Non-For-Profit.
